Adobe Lightroom 2021 Update is available now. I will show you how I use this for my Outdoor Portraits or Landscape Photos. At the End of this Article you will also find a short Video in german.
By clicking the Select Subject Button, Lightroom analyses the image and searches for Subjects to mask it automatically. This takes just a few seconds and it works really good ony my images. This Tool is great for Outdoor Portraits and Landscape Photography and can save much time.
Lightroom now allowes us something we now from Photoshop. Working with layers is completely new in lightroom. Although at first glance this might feel more complex but at the end of the day with this tool the results are way better and more precise.
With a bit of practise these new tools can make your workflow faster and makes it easier to edit subjects or skies seperately. Especially for adventure and outdoor photographer like me, this is great. The tool can improve processing speed and quality. For me this is one the best and powerful updates by Adobe for Lightroom for a long time.
Masks are combinable with other masks. You can Add or Subtract masks, and this feature gives you complete Control of your Image and parts of it. After combining these masks the image became much more lighter in the middle.
For the finish i picked Preset Nr 3 of my Outdoor Portrait Presets for a grainy & decent Outdoor Color Lookup.
