As a guest at the Global Sales Meeting of my longtime partner Jack Wolfskin in Kitzbühel. In the last two days I was able to meet a lot of great people again and get to know new inspiring people. As part of the Jack Wolfskin family of course something special for me, here the new technologies, projects, campaigns and of course the new summer collections for 2023 were presented. But above all, you could look forward to a creative exchange. CEO, Richard Collier opened the event, this man has power, that impresses me every time. But what impresses me honestly almost more is the fact that he is also easy-going and likeable.
It may be that I now describe to you that viewed through my Jack Wolfskin glasses, but anyway, this must be said. Hats off to all those behind this brand, whether designers, sales people, product managers or marketing staff, thank you for what you do. What has happened in the last few years is great cinema. Big steps in the right direction in many ways. This brand, this family is just cool. I feel super comfortable!!!
My very first big campaign together with Jack Wolfskin was the 'GOBACKPACK campaign. I traveled together with my friend and videographer for a week backpacking through Morocco and got to share my story with Jack Wolfskin and my community. It was not only an unforgettable experience, but also the start of a very successful campaign series. It's even nicer to see that this year's tour with four adventure off-road vehicles is also going through Morocco.
I am a person who needs the interpersonal closeness and trust. Of course this is about business, but I have learned one thing, the closer the contact, the better the 'friendship, the easier it is to pull together or solve problems. That's the best thing about my collaborations. Jack Wolfskin sees it the same way and that's why I feel so comfortable here.
